5年前、最愛の夫が他界。今は受験真っ只中の息子と二人暮らし。自分が「女」であることを捨て、息子のために仕事に打ち込んできた。独り身の寂しさと仕事疲れから、夜一人ベッドの上で自分を慰める日もしばしば。そんな日々を送っていた翔子だが、息子の友達との出会いで再び自分の中に眠っていた「女」が動き出す。
